iTA Mining addresses the need to collect and manage heterogeneous data for clinical studies in a structured and standardized way, enabling the extraction of quantitative data to support clinical decision-making through the construction of predictive models for diagnostic or prognostic purposes.
iTA Mining offers a workflow through an intuitive graphical interface that allows even less experienced users in programming to apply tools for data selection and quality control, and it proposes classification algorithms.
The value of iTA Mining lies in the reproducibility of analyses and results thanks to the standardization of the workflow and the sharing of data and generated models, even in multicenter studies.
The project is the results of a close collaboration between Tecnologie Avanzate and DataMind, a software house from Friuli, and is constantly growing thanks to the close collaborations that TA establishes with research centers.
A unique feature of iTA Mining is the ability to customize the platform based on the clinical endpoints of the research project (Radiomics, Dosiomics, Prognostic Modeling for Therapy Response Assessment, and Patient Stratification) and the study protocol through integration with algorithms and external methods dedicated to the visualization and processing of images and clinical data.
