Application for QC of Patients and Positioning Systems in RT.
iTA Tech is a web-based application designed to support radiotherapy technicians during patient positioning, increasing their safety during the phases of radiotherapy (RT) treatment.
The application is associated with RT patient immobilization systems and aims to support the RT technician both at the CT simulator and during the treatment phase. For each treatment area and type of treatment, protocols to follow are suggested, associated with the different immobilization systems. Checklists are provided to guide the user through the checks to ensure the patient’s identity and correct positioning
In the version under development, the software will feature automatic patient recognition and a module for analyzing morphometric variations.
